One Piece Card Game – Egghead Crisis EB-04 Booster Box [Japanese]

Description

The Egghead Island arc goes high-tech in this Extra Booster, and you can buy EB-04 Egghead Crisis Box stock from TCG Overvault as one factory-sealed Japanese display. Inside are 24 packs with six cards each, priced in Australian dollars.

Egghead Crisis suits two kinds of buyer: players who want to refresh a favourite deck, and fans who simply love the futuristic look of the artwork.

Box facts for EB-04

• One Japanese EB-04 Egghead Crisis display
• 24 packs in the box
• 6 cards per pack, for 144 cards altogether
• Factory sealed by Bandai

Every card in this box is printed in Japanese. That suits collectors who keep Japanese displays, and players who already know the cards well enough to read them by artwork and layout.

Reading Japanese cards

New to Japanese printings? The Japanese One Piece Card Game site run by Bandai has a searchable card database, handy for checking any card from your Egghead Crisis booster box as you sort.

Inspired by Egghead Island

Egghead Crisis takes its theme from the Egghead Island arc. The artwork leans into a futuristic, high-tech style.

That look is the reason many fans reach for an Egghead Crisis booster box first. Take your time with each pack and enjoy the illustrations before you start sorting for decks.

Made to strengthen your decks

EB-04 is built as a support set: its new cards are meant to boost the decks you already play. Rather than starting from scratch, you can slot fresh pulls into a build you enjoy and see how they change it.

Six-card packs and a brisk pace

With six cards in each pack, opening the 24 packs moves along at a quick, easy rhythm. It is a comfortable amount to work through with a friend in a single evening.

A single display is also a modest size, so you get to know the set without filling a cupboard. Leftover commons from your Egghead Crisis booster box make handy trading stock at your local store, and duplicates help you complete playsets.

Sorting tips

Set aside anything that fits a deck you already run, then group the rest by colour. Sleeve the standout art cards as they appear so they stay in top condition.

Comparing the Extra Boosters

EB-04 shares its six-card pack size with the earlier EB-03 Heroines Edition, so the two displays open at the same pace and sit well side by side. EB-02 goes the other way, with 12 cards in each pack. If you enjoy a quick opening session, the smaller packs in this box are a good match.

Gifts and collecting

Know a One Piece reader who is up to date with Egghead Island? This box is an easy present for them. It is easy to wrap, easy to store and fun to open together, whether that happens on a birthday or at a casual card night with friends.

If your shelf holds one unopened display of every Japanese Extra Booster, EB-04 can go straight into the line-up. If you would rather open it, a binder page for the futuristic artwork makes a striking display.

Whichever way you go, store the box flat and away from direct sunlight until you are ready, so the packaging stays clean for the shelf or for gifting.
