The box was dated for release on 11 November 2022 and holds far more than a typical booster product:
- Anniversary Card Set: 18 new cards ×2, for 36 silver cards across 18 types
- 2 × 5th Anniversary booster packs, 12 silver cards each, drawn from 18 types
- 1 SCR pack containing a single holo, gold-stamped alternate-art card (3 types)
- A revision set of 28 cards with errata applied
- 66 sleeves in one of four designs, chosen at random
- 1 storage box with a gold stamp
Why the revision set is handy
Errata change a card’s official wording after release. Having 28 corrected cards printed with the revised text means players can sleeve up versions that match the updated wording instead of carrying notes to every match.
Who the 5th Anniversary Box 2022 suits
Players get a full pack of 66 sleeves, fresh silver cards and that useful errata set, while collectors can look out for the three SCR alternate-art types and keep the gold-stamp storage box on display. It also makes a generous gift for a Dragon Ball fan who already plays, because almost everything inside gets used at the table.
Silver cards throughout
Both the Anniversary Card Set and the two booster packs use silver cards, giving the Dragon Ball Super 5th Anniversary Box a consistent finish that looks sharp lined up in a binder.
