Ultimate Squad carries the code BT-17 and is the eighth Series Boost in the Dragon Ball Super Card Game’s Unison Warrior run, released on 24 June 2022. As the name hints, its theme is teams: fighter groups gathered from many eras of Dragon Ball, with card illustrations that recreate well-known scenes.

• One sealed BT-17 booster box
• Box topper: one random Super Rare or Special Rare card
• 292 types: 60 C, 38 UC, 30 R (normal and holo), 18 SR, 15 SPR, 3 SCR

What UW8 adds for deck builders

The set brings support for an Androids theme, so anyone building around those characters finds fresh options here. Skills first seen in UW7 keep growing stronger, and several themes from earlier Unison Warrior sets receive extra support. Cracking a UW8 Ultimate Squad box is a sensible way to gather those upgrades in one sitting.

Who this BT-17 booster box suits

It fits Masters players filling out a deck, fans who enjoy the scene-recreation art, and collectors working towards a complete Unison Warrior binder. Because it is a single box, it also makes a tidy present for a Dragon Ball fan without stretching to a bulk order, and the SR or SPR box topper means each opening has a highlight built in.

Since UW8 keeps building on skills from the previous set, the UW7 Realm of the Gods booster box makes a natural partner, while the UW5 Cross Spirits booster box reaches further back into the Unison Warrior run. Both sit in the same Dragon Ball Super range, and the official Dragon Ball Super Card Game site has the rules and BT-17 card lists.
