The set that introduced Tera Pokémon ex
Tera Pokémon ex made their first appearance here, and their crystalline appearance makes them easy to spot in a stack of pulls. That history makes a Scarlet & Violet booster box from the base set a sensible first stop for anyone building a collection from the very start of the era, while the special illustration cards give binders plenty of colour.
For players and newcomers
With more than 30 Trainer cards and over 10 new Pokémon ex in the set, a display gives players a solid pool for building and testing decks. It’s also an approachable way for newer collectors to get to know the Paldea first partners alongside Koraidon and Miraidon.
A binder project to start with
Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly make a natural first page: track down each partner from the base set, then add Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex to round out a page of the new era’s headline Pokémon. Prefer to keep the box sealed? It marks the beginning of the series neatly on a shelf.
