Description
When you buy Aetherdrift Collector Booster Box product from TCG Overvault, you get the sealed Magic: The Gathering Aetherdrift Collector Booster Display: twelve premium packs and a First-Place topper, priced in Australian dollars and shipped Australia-wide.
Aetherdrift was released on 14 February 2025, and speed is its whole identity. Rival racing teams, vehicles and mounts charge across three planes in a race through the Multiverse, and the Collector Boosters capture that energy in foil.

Inside the Aetherdrift Collector Booster Display
You get 12 Aetherdrift Collector Boosters, each with 15 cards, and a 2-card First-Place box topper. Every booster includes:
- 10 to 12 Traditional Foils
- 5 cards at Rare or higher
- 3 to 5 Uncommons
- 4 to 6 Commons
- 1 full-art Driver’s Seat basic land
The packs supply 180 cards, and the topper adds two more for a total of 182. With five Rare-or-higher cards in each booster, you open 60 of them across the display.
The First-Place box topper
The two-card First-Place topper only comes with the full display. It is a nice extra that makes buying the whole box more rewarding than picking up loose Collector Boosters one at a time.
Card styles to look for
Aetherdrift has several eye-catching treatments, and twelve packs give you plenty of chances to find them. Look for three standout styles while you open: Japan Showcase cards, Special Guests cards and the Borderless Graffiti Giants.
The graffiti-style art is a highlight for anyone who likes bold, street-inspired illustration, while the Japan Showcase cards add a completely different look to your binder. Sort each treatment into its own pile as you open so you can see which ones you have collected.
The serialised Aetherspark
The rarest card on offer is a serialised Aetherspark headliner. Wizards of the Coast describes it as very rare, so if one crosses the line in your box, sleeve it straight away and give it a rigid holder.
Racing across the Multiverse
The Aetherdrift story is built around a deadly race spanning three planes, with teams fighting to finish first. Vehicles and mounts are at the centre of the set, which gives it a fast, modern feel quite different from the classic fantasy settings Magic usually visits.
Even the basic lands join in. Each booster carries one full-art Driver’s Seat basic, so the racing theme reaches all the way to your mana base. Collecting a full run of those lands is a fun side project for a twelve-pack opening, and they look great lined up together on a binder page.
Who gets the most out of it
Foil collectors will enjoy the 10 to 12 Traditional Foils in every pack. Commander players building around vehicles can pick up premium copies for their decks, and fans of graffiti-style art have a whole treatment to chase.
If you are weighing up the options, opening a full Aetherdrift Collector Booster Display gets you the topper as well as the packs. Compare it with the Assassin’s Creed Collector Box or the Karlov Manor Collector Booster Box if you want another premium box, or choose the Dragonstorm Play Booster Box if your group prefers a draft night.
