Winterspell box specifications
The display keeps things simple:
- 24 Disney Lorcana Set 11 booster packs
- 12 cards in each pack
- 288 cards across the box
- English-language card text
- Factory sealed by Ravensburger
English text makes every card quick to read during a match and easy to trade at your local Lorcana night, whether you are swapping a single card or a whole stack.
Hang on to the empty display once the packs are open. It makes a handy spot to hold the commons and uncommons you are not using in a deck yet.
Frozen, Mulan and the rest of the Set 11 cast
The Set 11 line-up leans into its icy theme. Frozen heads the list, and characters from several other Disney stories share the spotlight:
- Frozen
- Mulan
- Darkwing Duck
- The Fox and the Hound
- Beauty and the Beast
Those titles are only a slice of the set, as more franchises appear across the card pool. Part of the fun is the mix: a Darkwing Duck card can land on the board right beside a character from Frozen.
Collecting by film
If you collect around one favourite film, keep a checklist on your phone while you open. Group the Frozen cards together, do the same for Mulan and Beauty and the Beast, and you will see at a glance which characters are still missing.
Turning a Set 11 display into decks
With 288 cards to work with, there is plenty to sort by ink and shape into new two-ink decks. Lay every card out by ink first, then look for the pairing where your stack runs deepest.
Long-time Illumineers get something out of it as well. The newer cards open up fresh combinations with an existing collection, so a Winterspell booster box can breathe new life into a deck you already enjoy.
Sharing the opening
Twenty-four packs divide evenly between two players, at 12 packs each, or three players, at 8 each. A shared opening gives everyone a turn at the reveal and a pile of cards to trade once the wrappers are gone.
Who the Winterspell Booster Box is for
- Players keeping their decks current with recent sets
- Frozen and Mulan fans
- Collectors who own each Lorcana release as a sealed English box
- Groups of two or three who like to open a display together
It also makes a sensible next step for anyone who has worked through an older set and wants a newer pool of cards to explore.
Gift buyers are covered too: a Frozen fan who already plays gets 24 separate packs to open, rather than one quick reveal that is over in seconds.
