Inside the Big Bang Mission Vol.4 box
- 20 packs per box
- 3 foil promo cards in each pack, 60 foils per box
- A 31-card set
- Japanese text throughout
As a promo product, this volume swaps the normal booster rarity letters for a single “P” marking on each card. On top of that, all of them are foil.
What Super Dragon Ball Heroes is
Heroes is a Japanese game from Bandai that runs in arcades as well as on cards. It sits apart from the Dragon Ball Super Card Game, so these are Heroes collectibles, not cards for a Masters or Fusion World deck.
The appeal is the art: Heroes cards feature characters drawn from right across the Dragon Ball franchise, and the foil promo format makes them stand out on a binder page.
A crossover worth knowing
There is some overlap between the two games, because Heroes characters later appeared in Masters too. To see the cast on that side, look at the Realm of the Gods Booster Box, the Masters set where they made their first appearance.
The Ultra Instinct Goku Secret
At the top of this volume sits PUMS10-01 Ultra Instinct Goku in a Secret alternate-art version. Nothing else in the set is as hard to find, so open each pack for the fun of it and treat the Secret as a bonus if it turns up.
Have a top loader ready before you begin. If the Secret does appear, it should go straight into protection.
Penny sleeves for the other foils are worth having too. Foil surfaces pick up scratches easily, so sleeving each card as it leaves the pack keeps your Big Bang Mission Vol.4 set looking its best on the page.
Sixty foils in one box
Since each of the 60 cards is foil, your binder pages will sparkle whether or not the Secret appears. Twenty packs of three cards also make for a quick, relaxed opening session.
With 60 foils from a 31-card set, you will end up with doubles. Those are useful for trading with other Heroes collectors or for building a second display page.
Open the packs one at a time and enjoy the reveal. Three cards per pack keeps every round short, and laying each trio out on the table makes it easy to spot new numbers before they get mixed in with the rest.
Japanese cards in an Australian collection
Japanese text is no barrier on a binder page, where the art and the foil are what catch the eye. Each card also carries a code such as PUMS10-01, which makes identification simple even if you cannot read the text.
Sorting the 31-card set
Sort your pulls by PUMS10 number as you open. A quick tally shows which of the 31 numbers you have, and spares can be set aside for swaps.
