Win a combat, draw a card
What counts as a win
A combat is won when it ends with only your units left on the field. Each time that happens, Draven lets you draw a card.
Picking your fights
Since the trigger is nothing more than winning a combat, every fight you take on and close out cleanly lets the Draven Executioner Card put another card in your hand. That nudges you towards combats you expect to win outright.
In practice, that means committing units with enough Might to clear the defenders while keeping your own side standing. The steady card flow then keeps your hand stocked as you conquer battlefields and chase points.
Reading the board first
Before you attack, compare the Might on both sides. A fight you are likely to lose costs units and gives Draven nothing, so wait for the moment the numbers favour you.
Keeping the cards coming
Each card you draw gives you more options for the next fight, so a run of wins can feed itself. Use the extra cards to set up the following combat rather than spending them all at once.
Fury and Chaos under one champion
Pairing Fury with Chaos gives Draven an identity built around combat. Players who already like attacking in either domain will find his draw trigger suits units that want to attack every turn. Draven shines brightest with units that hit hard and come through their fights alive.
Any table size
The plan holds up in 1v1, in 2v2 and in a four-player free-for-all. In larger games, pick out fights you can win cleanly while your opponents wear one another down. No matter how many opponents are seated with you, each win still draws a card.
Fuelling the Chaos side
Need more Chaos Power? Consider the Showcase version of Seal of Discord, a Gear that costs no Energy and exhausts for a Chaos rune. To compare leaders, Prodigal Explorer (Ezreal) is another Spiritforged Showcase Legend whose domains include Chaos, alongside Mind.
The overnumbered 242/221 Showcase
Spiritforged’s main numbering stops at 221, so number 242 makes this special-art Draven an overnumbered print. The Draven Executioner Card makes a bold addition to any collection of Spiritforged Legends.
Care and storage
A perfect-fit sleeve plus a sturdy top loader keeps the special art in good shape, whether the card lives in your deck box or on a shelf.
