- Keyword: WEAPONMASTER
Those stats tell you plenty, but his two abilities are what make the Yone Signature Card worth building around, both on the table and in a collection.
WEAPONMASTER and the conquer strike
WEAPONMASTER
When you play Yone, WEAPONMASTER lets you equip one of your Equipment to him at a reduced cost, so he enters the board already armed.
Striking into the base
His second ability triggers when he conquers an open battlefield. Yone then deals damage equal to his Might to an enemy unit sitting in a base. At a starting Might of 5 that is a heavy hit, and anything that raises his Might raises the damage as well.
Picking off a unit that is still waiting in its base can remove a threat before it ever reaches a battlefield, which makes Yone a card your opponent has to plan around.
Growing the hit
Because the damage scales with Might, any effect that raises his Might does double duty: it strengthens Yone in a fight and adds to the damage he deals to a unit waiting in a base.
Playing Yone in a Body Equipment deck
Body decks that run Equipment get value from the Yone Signature Card twice over. First comes the cheaper attachment the moment he lands, then a reason to march him onto an open battlefield and trigger the strike.
Choosing your battlefield
Look for open battlefields Yone can conquer while a valuable enemy unit is still sitting back in its base. Timing it that way turns one conquer into both a won battlefield and a removed threat.
Pairing with other Legends
Equipment builds also suit Azir – Emperor of the Sands, a Calm and Order Legend whose Sand Soldiers share the WEAPONMASTER keyword. On the Body side, Fiora – Grand Duelist is a Legend built around MIGHTY units, and with 5 Might Yone already meets that mark when he arrives.
Collecting the 233*/221 Showcase signature
Spiritforged has 221 cards, so number 233 already sits past the base count. The asterisk then marks this copy as the Yone Signature Card, paired with Showcase artwork.
For Ionia collectors and dedicated Yone players, that combination makes a natural headline for a Spiritforged display. It also prints his full rules text, so the card works in a deck just as well as it does in a frame.
Keeping the card in top shape
A Showcase signature deserves careful handling. Store it in a penny sleeve inside a top loader, or in a magnetic holder for display, and keep it flat and away from heat.
