Description
Planning to buy Ruler of the Black Flame SV3 Box stock for your Japanese Scarlet & Violet collection? TCG Overvault sells the sealed SV3 booster display, a box of 30 Japanese packs built around Terastal Pokémon ex, with pricing in Australian dollars.
Japan saw Ruler of the Black Flame release on 28 July 2023. The set holds 108 cards before secret rares are counted, giving collectors a big list to sort, trade and file pack by pack. Opening a complete Ruler of the Black Flame booster box is the easiest way to kick off that project.

Sealed display contents
Every sealed Ruler of the Black Flame booster box contains:
- 30 Japanese booster packs
- 5 cards in every pack, for 150 cards across the box
- Cards drawn from a 108-card set, plus secret rares
Thirty packs is a full display, which makes it a good size for a long solo session or a shared opening with friends. Because every pack is random, opening a whole box is the most direct way to make progress on the set without chasing singles one at a time.
Want more than one display? The Ruler of the Black Flame Case holds twelve sealed boxes for collectors who buy in bulk.
Terastal Pokémon ex explained
Terastal Pokémon ex are the defining feature of this set. They carry a special rule that protects them while they sit on the Bench.
Terastal Pokémon ex take no damage from attacks while they sit on your Bench. The shield applies to attacks from your opponent’s Pokémon and from your own, which makes the Bench a safe spot to park a strong attacker until the moment is right.
For players, that changes how you plan your turns. You can build up a Terastal Pokémon ex in the background, then move it into the Active Spot when it is ready to swing the game.
Working through the 108-card list
With 108 cards in the main set and secret rares on top, Ruler of the Black Flame has a solid list to complete. A single display of 150 cards will not finish it alone, but it gives you a strong base of commons, uncommons and rares to build around.
Sort as you open. Group your pulls by number so you can see gaps at a glance, set duplicates aside for trading, and sleeve any secret rares before moving to the next pack.
Collectors who buy Ruler of the Black Flame SV3 Box stock for a binder project often keep a checklist nearby and tick cards off as they land.
Japanese-language cards
Every card in the box is printed in Japanese. That makes it a natural fit for anyone collecting the Japanese Scarlet & Violet sets in order, or for fans who simply prefer the Japanese releases.
Players can still learn plenty from the Terastal cards and the rules they introduce. If you need English text for local events, English product is the better choice for your deck, while this box suits the collection shelf or casual play.
Sealed or opened
Some buyers keep a Ruler of the Black Flame booster box sealed alongside other Scarlet & Violet displays, while others open it on day one. Planning to leave yours unopened? Store it away from direct sunlight in a spot where it cannot be bumped or squashed.
