What you get in the Moltres ex Ultra-Premium Collection
This is the official contents list for the box:
- Special Illustration Rare (229/182), Ultra Rare (208/182) and Double Rare (031/182): three foil versions of Team Rocket’s Moltres ex, all with unique artwork and a Destined Rivals stamp
- 18 Pokémon TCG booster packs
- 1 playmat
- 1 deck box
- 1 metallic coin
- 6 damage-counter dice
- 1 competition-legal coin-flip die
- 2 condition markers
- 1 Pokémon TCG Live code card
Eighteen packs make for a long, satisfying opening session from a single box. The three Moltres ex cards are part of the fixed contents rather than random pulls, so you know exactly which hits you are starting with before the first wrapper comes off.
One Legendary Bird, three rarities
The Double Rare is numbered 031/182, the Ultra Rare is 208/182 and the Special Illustration Rare is 229/182. Each one has its own artwork, so a single box shows Team Rocket’s Moltres ex in three different styles.
Collectors who buy Team Rocket Moltres UPC stock for display tend to keep the three cards together. A three-card frame or one row of a nine-pocket binder page shows the set off well, and it saves you hunting each rarity separately through loose packs.
As soon as the box is open, protect the Special Illustration Rare in a magnetic holder or top loader. Store all three foil cards in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight to keep the shine intact.
How these cards fit Destined Rivals
Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals launched on 30 May 2025. Giovanni and Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex sit at the top of the set, and plenty of Team Rocket’s Pokémon fill out the card list, which makes Moltres a fitting new recruit.
Ever since the original Pokémon games, Moltres has ranked among Kanto’s three Legendary Birds, so seeing it serve Team Rocket gives veteran fans something new. UK and European shelves received the Moltres ex Ultra-Premium Collection on 7 November 2025.

A ready-made play kit
Everything for a match is included. You get a playmat and deck box, plus two condition markers, a coin-flip die that is legal for competition play, six dice for tracking damage counters and a metallic coin. A Pokémon TCG Live code card also brings the box into the digital game.
Open the 18 packs, assemble a deck from your pulls, store it in the included deck box and lay the playmat out on game night. Pure collectors can use the mat as a tidy backdrop when photographing their favourite hits.
