Temporal Forces case layout
Here is how the case stacks up:
- 6 booster boxes
- 36 booster packs per box, 216 in all
- 10 cards per pack, 2,160 cards in total
Every box in the Temporal Forces case stays sealed until opening day. Leaving the boxes inside the outer case until you need them is the easiest way to protect the packaging.
These are English cards, so everything you pull is ready for local events and casual play.
Ancient vs Future
The headline Pokémon in Temporal Forces fall into two camps. Iron Crown ex and Iron Leaves ex fly the flag for the Future, and the Ancient side answers with Raging Bolt ex and Walking Wake ex.
ACE SPEC cards are back in the game, and both Farigiraf and Wugtrio show up as Tera Pokémon ex. In the set you will find:
- More than 160 cards
- ACE SPEC cards: six Trainers and one Special Energy
- Over a dozen new Pokémon ex, including type-shifted Tera Pokémon ex
- Dozens of Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations
With 216 packs in a Temporal Forces case, you have a strong chance of seeing a wide spread of the set, from ACE SPEC cards to special illustration rares.
Why players choose a case
ACE SPEC cards are back, and a case gives deck builders a large pool to choose from. Extra boxes can be traded, split with a playgroup or kept sealed for later.
Not planning to open everything at once? Many buyers open one box a month and keep the rest sealed, which spreads the set across half a year and leaves room to adjust decks between sessions.
A case also suits small stores and clubs that like to hold steady stock of an English set for events or prize support.
Players who buy Temporal Forces Sealed Case stock in one go save themselves from tracking down six separate boxes over time.
Building decks from six boxes
Six boxes give you a solid base for deck building. Start by sorting Pokémon ex into Ancient and Future piles, then group Trainer cards together.
Keep up to four copies of your most-played cards to one side. Apart from basic Energy, a deck can’t run more than four cards with the same name, so your main collection never needs extras beyond that.
The leftovers make excellent trade material at your local game store, and spare copies are handy for friends building similar decks.
Storing your pulls
With 2,160 cards to manage, a few long storage boxes and a binder for the best pulls will save time. Keep special illustration rares and ACE SPEC cards in sleeves and top loaders, and file the rest by type so trades are quick to find.
