About the Vivid Voltage expansion
Vivid Voltage is an English Sword & Shield expansion packed with Pokémon V, including the Mythical Pokémon Zarude.
The set also features Amazing Pokémon, whose cards stand out thanks to a rainbow splash of colour across the artwork. They are some of the most eye-catching cards to look for as you open.
Gigantamax Pikachu VMAX is part of the set too, the same Pokémon pictured on the sleeves in this box. Pulling it gives you a matching card for the sleeves you are already using.
If you collect Mythical Pokémon or simply love colourful designs, the eight packs in a Vivid Voltage Elite Trainer Box give you plenty to watch for.
Great for newer players
Alongside the player’s guide, this box adds a Pokémon TCG rulebook. That is handy if someone in the house is learning to play for the first time.
The 45 Energy cards, six damage-counter dice, coin-flip die and acrylic condition markers cover the basics of a game, so a new player can sit down and play with nothing else needed.
Use the four dividers to keep Energy, Trainers and Pokémon apart between sessions. It makes building and adjusting a first deck much simpler.
A first deck from the box
Open the eight packs, sort the Pokémon V and their support cards, then add Energy from the 45 included. Sleeve the finished deck in the Gigantamax Pikachu sleeves and it is ready for the kitchen table.
Why collectors want it
For Pikachu fans, the Gigantamax sleeves are reason enough to pick one up. Add eight packs and a proper home for your Sword & Shield cards, and the box keeps its place on the shelf long after it has been opened.
Collectors working through the Sword & Shield era often pair it with the Fusion Strike, Shining Fates and Darkness Ablaze Elite Trainer Boxes for a matching run.
Many shoppers buy Vivid Voltage ETB stock as a gift, because it covers opening, playing and storing in one presentable box.
Keeping it sealed
If you would rather keep the box unopened, store it flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, so the artwork stays bright and the corners stay sharp.
