A Guardian That Takes the Final Hit
Soraka is always the last unit to be assigned combat damage, so opponents have to work through the rest of your side before reaching her. Better still, when one of your other units at the same battlefield would die and its Might is lower than Soraka’s, she steps in. Rather than being destroyed, that unit is healed, exhausted and recalled, which keeps your smaller pieces in the game for another turn. On the printed card that covers units with 3 Might or less, since Soraka herself carries Might 4.
“Never waste a breath.”
That short flavour line suits a champion whose whole job is keeping allies alive. Paired with her Mount Targon tag, it gives Soraka collectors a card that feels true to the healer they know from League of Legends.
Why Pick the Soraka Showcase Signature
Spiritforged is numbered to 221, so 239 already sits beyond the base checklist, and the asterisk after the number is what identifies this Soraka Showcase signature. Order players who lean on protection get her complete rules text here, while collectors get the asterisk printing of the Soraka Wanderer 239*/221 for a binder or a top-loaded deck. She is just as useful on the table as she is in a display case, so where this copy ends up is entirely your call.
Pair Soraka with More Riftbound Cards
Small units are exactly what Soraka protects, and Viktor – Herald of the Arcane, a Mind and Order Legend, keeps producing 1 Might Recruit tokens. For a Legend that rewards a well-defended board, Poppy – Keeper of the Hammer pairs Order with Body and gains XP whenever you hold.
