About the N’s Zekrom promo
The promo is a full-art foil N’s Zekrom, numbered MEP 031 in the Mega Evolution Black Star Promo series and illustrated by Bun Toujo. N’s Zekrom also appears in the main set as a Rare (155/217), so the promo gives N fans a striking full-art version to display next to it. Slide it into a sleeve and top loader before you open the first pack.
This listing is the standard Elite Trainer Box. A Pokémon Center edition, released alongside it on 20 February 2026, carries a version of the promo with the Pokémon Center logo.
Ascended Heroes chase cards
The headline Mega Dragonite ex is the set’s final card, a Mega Hyper Rare at #295, and Mega Charizard Y ex is a second Mega Hyper Rare at #294. Ascended Heroes also introduced the Mega Attack Rare, a brand-new rarity carried by seven cards such as Mega Gengar ex and Mega Diancie ex, with artwork that shows off each Pokémon’s biggest attack.
Beyond those, the set has 22 special illustration rares and 33 illustration rares. Special illustration rare targets include Pikachu ex, Team Rocket’s Mewtwo ex and N’s Zoroark ex, which pairs neatly with the N’s Zekrom promo for anyone building an N collection. Each of the nine Ascended Heroes booster packs is another chance to find one.
Mega ex, Tera ex and Trainer’s Pokémon
Ascended Heroes counts 13 Mega ex, 6 Tera ex and 20 Pokémon ex. Mega Evolution Pokémon ex hit hard, but each one gives up 3 Prize cards when it is Knocked Out, so build your deck around protecting them. Trainer’s Pokémon such as N’s Zekrom and N’s Zoroark ex add plenty of character, and Stellar Tera Pokémon ex round out a line-up that celebrates the stars of the Scarlet & Violet era.
Setting up with the accessories
The 40 Energy cards, 65 sleeves, six damage-counter dice, coin-flip die and plastic coin cover everything needed for a game, while the player’s guide explains the expansion. Use the six dividers to separate Mega ex, Trainer cards, Energy and your best pulls. Players who buy Ascended Heroes ETB AU orders as a first box can be sleeved up and battling the same evening.
