Description
An explosion at the Great Illuminary sends the six inks flooding across the Inklands in a chaotic, mixed form. That is the story of Lorcana’s second set, and you can buy Rise of the Floodborn Box Australia-wide to open 24 packs of it, each one holding a fresh handful of the set’s characters and songs.
Buy Rise of the Floodborn Box Australia: inside the box
- 24 booster packs of Set 2, Rise of the Floodborn
- 12 cards per pack: 1 foil, 2 rare or higher, 3 uncommon and 6 common
- Drawn from more than 200 original cards with new artwork
Floodborn glimmers and a missing trident
Glimmers touched by the mixed ink become Floodborn, a new breed of character for the set. The flood also washes lore away across the Inklands, King Triton’s trident included, and recovering it becomes part of the adventure. As you open the Floodborn booster packs, that storyline plays out card by card.
Films that join the Inklands in Set 2
Characters, items, actions and songs arrive from a broad mix of Disney favourites:
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio
- The Jungle Book and The Great Mouse Detective
- The Rescuers, Raya and the Last Dragon and Zootopia
Resist and the Set 2 starter decks
Set 2 also adds the Resist keyword, which reduces the damage dealt to a character, so sturdy glimmers can survive challenges that would otherwise knock them out. The set’s starter decks paired Amber with Sapphire and Amethyst with Steel. A Lorcana Set 2 booster box plays happily alongside The First Chapter, though you don’t need Set 1 to enjoy it.
