Box specifications
Here is what you get in each display:
- 16 booster packs
- 9 cards per pack
- 100 card types
- 35 parallel cards
- English Edition with the DDM/ card code
Sixteen packs of nine cards gives you 144 DDM/ cards. That is a handy stack for building a first deck, setting aside trades and starting a binder of your favourite characters.
Because the cards are in English, the box is a comfortable choice for players who want to read every card at a glance during a game.
Seven foil-stamped sign cards
A big attraction for collectors is the sign-card line-up. Seven voice actors from the series appear as foil-stamped signatures:
- Ais Wallenstein, voiced by Saori Oonishi
- Bell Cranel, voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
- Eina Tulle, voiced by Haruka Tomatsu
- Hestia, voiced by Inori Minase
- Liliruca Arde, voiced by Maaya Uchida
- Ryu Lion, voiced by Saori Hayami
- Syr Flova, voiced by Shizuka Ishigami
Bell and Hestia are both on the list, so a matching pair of their sign cards would make a perfect centrepiece for a binder dedicated to the hero and his goddess. These signatures are one of the main reasons fans buy DanMachi English Booster Box stock.
Protecting sign cards
Foil-stamped signatures deserve careful handling. Sleeve each sign card as soon as it appears, then place it in a top loader or a binder page away from direct sunlight.
Building a DanMachi deck
Every card shares the DDM/ code, so a Neo-Standard deck can be built from this title alone. Opening a full DanMachi Booster Box is a practical way to collect the multiple copies a deck needs without hunting for singles.
Open the packs, group the cards by type and look for characters that work well together. Once your core is in place, the parallels and spare cards can go into a trade pile.
Playing your first games
If you are new to Weiss Schwarz, build a simple deck first and play a few practice games with a friend. You will quickly see which characters perform best and which ones to swap out, and the spare cards from your box give you plenty of options to adjust.
Is this box for you?
Weiss Schwarz players who love DanMachi get a full title to build around, while collectors following the voice cast have seven signatures to look for, covering Bell’s actor as well as the cast behind Hestia, Ais and the other heroines.
The box also suits newcomers who know the anime and want an easy way into Weiss Schwarz in English. When you buy DanMachi English Booster Box stock, you get enough cards to start learning the game.
If you enjoy chasing voice actor signatures, the Attack on Titan Vol 2 Booster Box also features seven sign cards. The Hololive English Booster Box follows a matching layout of sixteen nine-card packs.
