Fusion World – Ultra Limit [FB04] Booster Box

Description

Players who buy FB04 Ultra Limit Booster Box stock from TCG Overvault get five new Leaders, one in each colour, plus the first holographic illustration cards Fusion World has printed. Each sealed display contains 24 packs, with pricing in Australian dollars.

Ultra Limit is the fourth Fusion World booster and came out on 15 November 2024. It is a strong pick whether you want to test a new colour or chase foil art.

Ultra Limit contents

• 24 packs, 12 cards per pack (288 cards)
• Five new Leaders across five colours, with black included
• 22 parallel cards, three of them Premium Reprint Cards
• A holographic Secret Rare Alt-Art with gold foil stamping
• A promo code for the digital version of the game

That is a full display of a numbered Fusion World set, with enough cards to sort into decks and plenty left over for trades.

Twelve cards per pack keeps each opening substantial, and 24 packs is a comfortable amount to work through in one evening. Keep a pen and paper nearby to note which Leaders and parallels you pull as you go.

One new Leader per colour

Because each of the five colours gets its own new Leader, an FB04 booster box has something to offer no matter which colour you play. Black is part of that spread, a colour that first arrived in Raging Roar one set earlier.

The Leaders are joined by many characters new to the game, which gives deck builders a wide pool to test. Use the included code to try ideas in the digital version before you sleeve up a paper deck.

Choosing a colour

Lay all five Leaders side by side once you have opened the box. Sorting the remaining cards beneath each one shows which colour your pulls support best, and which Leader needs a few trades to complete.

Holo, foil and fresh artwork

Ultra Limit introduced holographic illustration cards to Fusion World. Top of the list is the Secret Rare’s holographic Alt-Art, finished with gold foil stamping, which makes it the standout pull of the set.

Five newcomers also appear as Rares with foil-stamped Alt-Design versions. On top of that, three Premium Reprint Cards revive flexible cards from earlier sets, up to FB03, with brand-new illustrations.

Protecting the shiny ones

Foil and holo surfaces scratch easily, so sleeve them the moment they come out of a pack. A top loader for the Secret Rare Alt-Art is a sensible extra step, and keeping your FB04 booster box pulls out of direct light helps the foil stay bright.

Is Ultra Limit right for you?

An FB04 booster box works well for a player who wants to try all five new Leaders before committing to one colour. It is also a good size for a few friends to split at a local game night, with each person taking the Leader they like best and trading for the cards that support it.

Buying for a younger family member who is just getting into Fusion World? The box makes a simple present, and the digital code lets them keep playing online too.
