Description
Breakers, stores and bulk collectors can buy Obsidian Flames Sealed Case stock at TCG Overvault and get six English booster boxes from Scarlet & Violet—Obsidian Flames in one sealed case, priced in Australian dollars.
Obsidian Flames was released on 11 August 2023, and its headline card turns Charizard ex into a Darkness-type Tera Pokémon. An Obsidian Flames booster box case gives you 216 packs to open now, store for later or split with friends.

Six boxes, 216 packs: the case in numbers
- 6 sealed Obsidian Flames booster boxes
- 36 booster packs in each box
- 10 cards in every pack
- 216 packs and 2,160 cards across the case
- English-language cards
That is enough for a long opening session, several smaller ones, or months of trading with a regular group. Because the six boxes stay sealed inside the outer case, you choose exactly when each one gets opened.
Planning to share? The numbers split cleanly: two people take three boxes each, three people take two, and six people get one box apiece.
What Obsidian Flames brings to the table
The official set overview lists:
- More than 190 cards
- Type-shifted Tera Pokémon ex, including the Darkness-type Charizard ex
- More than 20 new Pokémon ex
- More than 15 Trainer cards
- Dozens of cards with special illustrations
With 2,160 cards in an Obsidian Flames booster box case, you get a deep look at that list, from the Pokémon ex to the Trainers that support them.
Pokémon ex to look for
Beyond Charizard ex, Tyranitar ex, Eiscue ex and Vespiquen ex appear as Tera Pokémon. Dragonite ex, Greedent ex, Revavroom ex and Melmetal ex round out a strong Pokémon ex line-up.
A Darkness-type Tera Charizard ex
Charizard is usually linked with Fire, so a Darkness-type Tera version gives Obsidian Flames a distinctive twist. It is a talking point for Charizard collectors and a big reason many people buy Obsidian Flames Sealed Case stock rather than a single box.
For players, a Tera Pokémon with a shifted type opens up fresh deck ideas. Six boxes of packs give you plenty of material to test those ideas and build around the set’s Pokémon ex.
Display ideas for Charizard fans
If a Darkness-type Charizard ex turns up, give it a magnetic or screw-down holder and keep it out of direct sunlight. Charizard collectors often display each version side by side, and this one stands out thanks to its unusual type.
Who a six-box case is for
Breakers
216 packs suits a planned break, with boxes or packs allocated to each participant. Keep the outer case closed until the break starts so every box reaches the table in good condition.
Stores and playgroups
An Obsidian Flames booster box case gives a store or regular playgroup enough English packs for events, prize support or pack-opening nights across several weeks.
Collectors
Some collectors open a few boxes and keep the rest sealed. Others work through the whole Obsidian Flames booster box case to build a complete binder and a healthy stack of trades.
Storing sealed boxes
Keep any unopened boxes in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Leaving them inside the outer case also reduces knocks and dents, which matters if you like to display sealed product.
