Soraka – Wanderer card profile
- Card: Soraka – Wanderer
- Type: Champion Unit
- Domain: Order
- Tags: Mount Targon and Soraka
- Cost: 4 Energy and 1 Power
- Might: 4
- Printing: Showcase, 239*/221, listed as the signature version
- Set: Riftbound Spiritforged
That Might of 4 matters more than it first appears, because it sets the limit for the Soraka Signature Card’s rescue ability, as the next section explains.
How Soraka protects your units
Soraka is always the last of your units to be assigned combat damage. Opponents have to get through the rest of your side at a battlefield before they can reach her.
Her second line is where she shines. When another of your units at the same battlefield would die and its Might is lower than Soraka’s, it is not destroyed. Instead it is healed, exhausted and recalled, so it survives for another turn. With Soraka at Might 4, that covers any of your units with 3 Might or less.
Making the most of her text
Surround Soraka with smaller units you would rather not lose. Each time one of them is saved, you keep a piece on the board that your opponent spent real effort trying to remove.
Why the recall matters
A recalled unit is pulled back rather than destroyed, so it stays in the game instead of being lost. Over a long match that can add up to several units your opponent never quite managed to remove.
The 239*/221 Showcase signature
Spiritforged is numbered to 221, so a card numbered 239 already sits outside the base checklist. The asterisk after the number is what marks this copy as the Soraka Signature Card.
For a collector, that makes this a card to check closely: confirm the asterisk, the number and the Showcase art, and you know you have the version listed here.
A line that fits the healer
Her flavour text reads “Never waste a breath.” Together with the Mount Targon tag, it gives the card a feel that matches the healer League of Legends players already know.
Play it or display it
Soraka is as useful in a deck as she is in a binder, so where this copy ends up is your choice. In a deck, double-sleeve her with a perfect-fit inner sleeve; on display, a top loader or magnetic holder keeps the Showcase art clean.
Riftbound cards to pair with Soraka
Small units are exactly what Soraka protects, which makes these cards good company for a Soraka Signature Card:
- Viktor – Herald of the Arcane: a Mind and Order Legend that keeps making 1 Might Recruit tokens for Soraka to look after
- Poppy – Keeper of the Hammer: a Legend that pairs Order with Body and gains XP whenever you hold
Collectors chasing more asterisked singles can also add the Yone signature card to their list.
