Inside the SEED Strike box
Open the starter and you will find:
- A White and Red deck of 50 cards
- Three GUNDAM ASSEMBLE kits
- Ten Resource cards
- Eight token cards
- A paper damage counter
- Rules printed on a combined playsheet
- A bonus pack
The combined playsheet keeps the rules in front of you while you play, so a first game does not need a separate rulebook open on the table.
Kira, Athrun and their Mobile Suits
This Gundam SEED deck is built around two of the series’ central pilots. Kira Yamato flies the Aile Strike Gundam and Athrun Zala takes the Aegis Gundam, so fans get both characters and their machines in one list.
Gundam SEED viewers can jump straight into the card game with it, with no booster packs to sort through beforehand.
Building the SEED kits
During play, the three GUNDAM ASSEMBLE mini Gunpla stand on token cards. They arrive unpainted, so you can assemble them whenever suits you, add paint for a custom finish, and turn every match into something like a scene from the series. Paints and tools are not part of the set.
Why defence wins with White and Red
White and Red in SEED Strike lean defensive. The deck rewards patience and careful decisions, and it gives attacking players a hard time.
That makes the SEED Strike Starter Set a strong choice for thoughtful players, and a natural rival for an aggressive deck such as the Zeon’s Rush ST03A starter set.
Lessons from a defensive deck
Learning to protect your units here teaches you a great deal about how the Gundam Card Game flows. Watch when your opponent commits to an attack, respond rather than rush, and use the damage counter to keep a clear picture of the board.
Room to learn
A patient deck rarely forces you into risky plays, which gives newer players space to learn the rules and the rhythm of a turn. Once that feels natural, trying a faster style becomes much easier.
Who the SEED Strike Starter Set suits
- Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala fans
- Players who prefer a steady, defensive game
- Families or friends who need a second starter so everyone has a deck
- Gundam SEED viewers taking their first step into the card game
Its measured pace suits players who like time to think through each turn. For a classic match-up, play it against the Heroic Beginnings ST01A starter set, which brings Amuro Ray and Suletta Mercury to the other side of the table.
Two starters, one table
Picking up two starter sets at once means nobody has to wait for a turn with the deck. SEED Strike pairs with any of the other GUNDAM ASSEMBLE starters for exactly that kind of evening at home.
