Skypiea Meets the Revolutionaries
OP-05 pulls from two quite different corners of the One Piece story. Characters from the Skypiea arc make up one side of the card pool, while figures from the Revolutionary Army fill the other, so deck builders have more than one direction to explore once the packs are open and sorted by colour.
Anniversary art from Oda
To mark the card game’s 1st anniversary, Eiichiro Oda supplied new illustrations for cards included in this set. Seeing the manga’s creator on playable cards is a genuine treat for long-time readers, and it gives the Awakening of the New Era booster box plenty of appeal for binder collectors.
Got the ST-10 starter deck?
This set pairs well with ST-10, so players who already own that starter can use a box to push the list further. Newer players can simply sort their pulls by colour and start a fresh deck from whatever stands out.
Who the OP-05 Awakening of the New Era Box Suits
An English box makes sense for regulars at English-format store events, for collectors lining up the early main sets on a shelf, and for anyone chasing the anniversary artwork. It also makes a welcome gift for a One Piece fan with a soft spot for Skypiea.
