The official announcement describes the Eevee promo as illustration rare-style, so it sits comfortably beside the set’s special illustration rares in a binder.
The set has 131 main-set cards and 180 cards in total, and Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon all share the spotlight.
Chase cards and parallels
Special illustration rares are the big draw here. There are 32 of them, led by the Umbreon ex special illustration rare (161/131), with the Sylveon ex special illustration rare (156/131) not far behind.
Regular cards get extra shine too, thanks to Poké Ball and Master Ball pattern parallel foils. Finding a Master Ball parallel of your favourite Eeveelution is a highlight of any opening.
Players are not left out. The set includes 6 ACE SPEC Trainer cards, and each of the nine packs in the Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box is another chance at one.
An easy gift for Eevee fans
Eevee’s many Evolutions mean almost every Pokémon fan has a favourite, which makes this box a safe choice when you are unsure what to buy.
Younger collectors can start playing straight away with the sleeves, Energy, dice and coin-flip die, and the player’s guide explains the basics. Older fans will enjoy the promo and the chance at an Umbreon ex.
That broad appeal is why so many gift shoppers buy Prismatic Evolutions ETB stock for birthdays and holidays.
ETB or Super-Premium Collection?
The Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection holds 15 booster packs, a full-art foil Eevee ex promo, a fuzzy Eevee deck box, a playmat and 65 sleeves. The Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box has nine packs but adds 45 Energy cards, dice, a coin-flip die and a storage box with dividers.
Sorting and storing your pulls
Use the four dividers to separate cards by type. A nine-pocket binder page holds Eevee and its eight Evolutions perfectly, so the whole family fits on one sheet.
Sleeve the Eevee promo and any special illustration rares as soon as they appear, and keep the Poké Ball and Master Ball parallels together so you can track which patterns you have found.
Keeping one sealed
Some fans open one box and keep a second on the shelf. Store a sealed box flat in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and consider a clear protective case to keep the corners sharp.
